# Teach Moosen your writing style

Edit the writing guide and channel rules used to create future posts.

**Writing style & rules** is the place for instructions Moosen should keep using. Put lasting preferences here, such as how to describe your products, words to avoid, or the tone you use with customers.

## Edit your writing guide

1. Select the correct brand and open **Brand → Writing style & rules**.
2. Read the existing guide.
3. Add or edit clear instructions in your own words.
4. Save your changes.
5. Review new drafts to check the result.

Your saved edits are kept as your guidance. A later automated voice update doesn't overwrite your edited writing guide.

## Write useful rules

"Use the tasting notes on the product page. Don't invent sourcing details" gives Moosen a specific boundary. "Make it better" doesn't explain what to change.

Include preferred terms, factual limits, audience details, and examples of wording you'd actually use. Keep conflicting instructions out of the guide.

## Add channel rules

Scroll to the platform rules and enter any channel-specific guidance. For example, keep Instagram hashtags short or explain how your Reddit posts should contribute to the community.

A shared post normally uses one caption across its destinations. Channel rules don't mean every destination receives a separately rewritten caption. Reddit has a [dedicated title and body](/posts/reddit-copy).

## Change an existing draft

Saved brand rules guide future work. Use [Refine](/posts/refine) to change a post that already exists. Use **Improve future posts** in Studio when feedback should apply to the brand more broadly.
